Growing up, I always felt like a âmisfitâ, someone who doesn't easily blend in with the crowd, which can create a profound sense of loneliness. Itâs that feeling of always being different or misunderstood, no matter what you do.
Have you ever felt that way?Â
This experience shaped me into someone who would only rely on herself and walk alone on her path. Has it helped me? Sometimes, yes. But not trusting anyone and staying a lone wolf wonât get you very far in life.
Eventually, I realized that beneath my âI donât need anyoneâ protective mechanism was a deep longing for meaningful, nourishing friendships. I yearned for connections with other women where I could feel safe being real and raw.
I wanted relationships with other strong-minded women, where we could grow together and lift each other up.
I wanted a community. A sisterhood.
During my many years of working as a ProDomme, I searched for these types of bonds, but often encountered deception, competition, and comparison instead.Â
So instead of trying to get a seat at the available table, I decided to build my own.Â
